When storing herbs, you probably already know to keep them away from light and heat as much as possible to help them retain their flavor. Airtight containers are also pretty important. But did you know that depending on the herbs themselves, shelf life may last anywhere from 1 to 3 years? Dating your herbs if you grow them yourself is important for this very reason.

I really like using glass containers but anything airtight is great. They make fun magnetic ones you can stick to the side of your fridge, too.

If you don't already grow herbs in your kitchen, here's a fun way to do  it that also keeps them away from the cats! That's definitely handy in my house.

What tips do you have for storing herbs or growing them indoors? Share them in the chat!
